Personalize Google
With the Beta launch of Groovle.com, we can now Personalize Google anyway we want.
Users can either use the custom pages provided by Groovle or upload their own images and create their own Groovle Web browser homepage. Groovle is powered by Google.
Jacob Fuller, the creator of Groovle.com commented on the Beta launch: “For the past couple of years I wondered to myself why my homepage was so plain looking and why there wasn’t an option available to make it more “alive”.
I took the idea to my old University roommate Ryan and after months of sleepless nights coding and optimizing images we launched Groovle.com.”
Jacob went on to say “We are providing a free service that we think is appealing to individuals all over the world and in the coming months we will be adding some pretty cool features.”
Although Groovle.com is not a business with a solid revenue model and is unlikely to reach mass market, there is definitely demand for a tool to compete with the dull Google default search page.
To Personalize Google, Groovle’s a pretty simple site that allows you to choose from their various categories of images they have available to post as a replacement for the Google white background, or you can upload your own photo to your page..Â
Groovle.com allows users to personalize and customize their web browser homepage by either using the extensive variety of ready to use pages and images provided by Groovle in categories including celebrities, nature, space, and sport or by uploading their own images
