If my memory serves me right, i was 8 yrs. old, when i had my First Communion. Held at our school chapel in SPCP . Donned in white Gala, walking virginly towards the altar, where i first received “the Body of Christ” as what thay call them in Catholic Churches.

Among my first communion gifts, it was this folding frame of Mary and Jesus Christ which i still remember until now. A small squared frame, with round edges, gold lining and velvet-like texture on the side.

Until now, I’m not really so sure what’s in it that made it special compared to the other first communion gifts that i received back then. Aside from my being extremely sentimental.. i guess it’s the fact, that it will always remind me of the first time i had my communion.
